elevate your game to new heights
At Level Up Academy, we turn board games into brain games. Through strategic classics like Chess, Catan, Go, and Sequence, we empower children to think critically, collaborate effectively, and compete respectfully. Our tiered training programs cater to all experience levels, helping young players master the game and themselves. From their first move to tournament victories, we guide kids on a journey of growth—building confidence, creativity, teamwork, and sportsmanship along the way.
Every month, Level Up Academy hosts open-to-all public tournaments—inviting young chess enthusiasts from across the community to come together, compete, and grow.
These tournaments aren’t just about winning—they’re about showing up, thinking smart, and rising to the challenge.
•Three progressive levels.

• Weekly practice sessions to reinforce learning
• Monthly public tournaments for real-world experience
• Focus on critical thinking, discipline, and sportsmanship
Ideal for young learners new to chess. Students are introduced to the board, pieces, basic rules, and foundational strategies. This level focuses on building confidence, pattern recognition, and early decision-making in a fun, supportive environment.
For players who understand the basics and are ready to explore deeper strategy. Students learn key tactical motifs, mid-game planning, and how to analyze their own games. Emphasis is placed on consistency, calculated thinking, and preparing for tournament play.
Designed for experienced players seeking competitive refinement. Advanced students develop opening repertoires, endgame techniques, and tournament mindset. Regular exposure to rated events helps sharpen performance under pressure and grow as thoughtful competitors.
